Dermal fillers
We will all feel the effects of ageing and will naturally start to lose volume from the facial area. This in turn, creates more lines, folds and dark shadows which can give our age away.
We offer dermal fillers for the whole face and are passionate about keeping enhancements very natural.

As we age, hyaluronic acid breaks down and this contributes to the formation of lines on the skin, flattened cheeks and a sagging jaw line. Dermal fillers can be used across the whole face. However, most commonly, they are used to improve the facial contours and soften deep, static lines and folds.
Dermal fillers are used to correct loss of volume, shape, contour and reduce the appearance of fine and/or deep lines. Fillers consist of Hyaluronic acid which is a natural occurring gel produced in the body, which is injected into the treatable area. Fillers consist of a gel, most of which contain a local anesthetic which minimizes discomfort.
They can be used to achieve a variety of rejuvenating results including:
Contouring the cheeks and chin
Filling deep lines, such as those that run from the nose to the mouth
Restoring a youthful fullness and definition to lips.
A numbing cream is applied to minimise any discomfort and tiny amounts of the safe, gel-like filler are injected with an ultra-fine needle into the areas requiring treatment. There is no need for a recovery period and results are instant, lasting for several months.
Though this is a straightforward no down-time procedure, mild bruising can occur in very few cases, which is transient and fades with time.
What areas can be treated with dermal fillers?
Cheek enhancement
As we age the fat pads in out face move and shrink. This can leave the appearance of a split cheek or sallowness. Cheek filler can return this and gives an overall refreshed look.
Non-surgical cheek enhancement is the term usually describing an injectable procedure using temporary hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to plump and lift the skin tissues of the mid and lower facial regions.
This treatment helps to enhance deflated fat pads of the face, support skin sagging and restore volume and contour. This treatment is ideal for those wanting to improve the contours of their cheeks or to restore volume loss which has occurred due to the natural ageing process, illness or weight loss. It also provides a more youthful look to your mid to lower face.
Marionette filler
The lines that go downwards from the mouth to jawline can deepen with age and make us look sad. Using fillers via a small cannula we can blend the shadows and lift the corners of the mouth for a subtle refresh.
Nasiolabial filler
Nasiolabial fillers are commonly used to address the deep lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth, known as nasiolabial folds. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are often injected into these areas to add volume and smooth out the wrinkles, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
Other areas imclude smokers lines, tear troughs, chin and jawline filler.
Do Dermal fillers hurt?
As a topical anaesthetic is applied before the treatment, the procedure should not be painful. There can be some mild discomfort and pulling / tugging of the skin if a cannula is used, but you should remain free from extreme discomfort.
As with any injectable procedure, there is always risk of bruising and swelling after a dermal filler treatment for the face. To minimise the chance of bruising and swelling we advise you to avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment and avoid any exercise, for a few days, after your facial filler treatment.
