What happens during a lip filler treatment?

Your lips will be ‘numbed’ with a topical anaesthetic. The lip fillers are then injected into the lips with very fine needles to ensure minimal discomfort and bruising, allowing us to sculpt the lips to the desired shape and fullness. We may mould and massage the product with our fingertips, so that you obtain a smooth, natural result. 

Is there any downtime following lip filler treatment?

There is no clinical downtime, meaning you won’t have to take time off work. However, there could be some mild to significant swelling and bruising in the days after your dermal filler lip treatment. Therefore, you may wish to select carefully, the dates that you have the procedure, so that they don’t coincide with any major or special events or holidays.
